Your you tube channel is very informative and more lesson to learn 👍👍👏👏
Hey Gypsyman, I'm just wondering how is the Timney Enhanced Feel Trigger Shoe with Glock Performance Trigger going? No problems..?? After watching your video I've contacted Timney Triggers and this was they response: "A: The Enhanced Feel Trigger Shoe for Glock has not been confirmed for proper compatibility with the Glock Performance Trigger, it is intended for use with the factory Glock trigger bar." Please let me know. Cheers ..
It works prefect and I have one for each of my GPT's. With that said, I do understand why they responded like this. For example, the johnny glock vex trigger does change the trigger travel and I can say with all certainty that it should not be installed on any gun you will EDC.
Anyone ever tell you you're like the Bob Ross of Glocks? They have now!
Lmao...I love that comment. Thanks
Try leaning towards Atlas custom for competition shooting and see where you at with P.
Im done for now trying to compete with 2011's...lol. I'm sure in the future I will pick it back up. But as of now my Glock is out performing my Staccato.
@@Gypsyman40 for sure, master both platform u’ll be unstoppable
Gypsy Man…You’re The Best🫡
I appreciate that...
34's are pretty.
I love mine
I'm with you on this. Ran mine for a month with an Overwatch Precision Polydat shoe. Liked it a lot. Never felt comfortable with it. Now I only use it when I zero red dots. It does tighten my groups. But if I don't trust it? Then it doesn't matter.
Im glad you get what Im saying. Why risk it
So coming from the perspective of Glock armorers who I have discussed this video with I can comfortably say that polishing the performance trigger is pointless. The coating on the components that make contact with each other has lubricity. Polishing removes the coating and in effect reduces the efficacy of the coating. This coating is the same that is used on high end BCG’s found on your more costly AR15’s and other firearms. You may temporarily notice slight, very slight differences from polishing, but you ultimately end up voiding the warranty on the trigger system. My advice, leave well enough alone. By the way I also got this information directly from Glock support. Just saying.
Makes no difference at all. Its stainless steel with great lube. You won't feel that just noticeable difference they are describing to you. I have been doing this too long. And my triggers feel is impeccable. I have no malfunctions. More over, I respect your opinion but there is no way of you proving the friction coefficients of a Glock trigger bar outside of a lab. So, my feel test wins...lol...my humble opinion. More important its a Glock
Sir, if you remove or backout the Overtravel Screw of the JG Vex Shoe on your G34, is it still like that? Thanks.
Yes, It is still like that for sure
Yeahh I'm new subscribers here great explanation and good demonstration I'm gun lover also but I don't have that ever hehehehehe and I'm also a vlogger some day I buy gun but here in Philippines 🇵🇭 gun is very expressive hehehehehe.
I'm sure. So many great shooters in the Philippines
New subscriber here. Great display of knowledge.
More to come...
Will this magwell work is OEM baseplates?
it would be difficult to seat it. the magwell comes with weighted extended replacement baseplates. I would suggest ordering extra extended baseplates as well. The weight on them make the mags drop out a lot quicker
For my work guns a Glock 17 and 19 I use OEM. All of my other Glocks I use GPT with the exception of my 34. I don’t think there is an issue with the GPT.
No issue at all if you use it for its intended use which is competition. I love it in my setup
Love the magwell on the glock! Where did you get it?
Dawson Precision Ice magwell. Its great for limited optics division
great review, to the point.
Thank you. So many things have changed with its usefulness
The resistance in the stock trigger was meant to take the place of an external safety
it gives time to make the right choice for sure
I’m with you. I’d avoid the Timney for the same reason. For EDC I’d stick to Apex or Overwatch (which supposedly are the only two aftermarket triggers accepted for duty use by police departments).
Except the actual Glock trigger lmao
Thanks for the info
It works thought...
Trust Glock. Nothing is tested more than a Glock.
The GPT is literally a factory Glock trigger
I trust most nothing and why chance it on a EDC
It is but it's not suggested by Glock for EDC
@@Gypsyman40 don’t think they’ve ever said that, they say it’s not duty rated because the trigger pull is too light
@@essvd2524 the GPT is too light for EDC as well to be honest
I would also have a hard time putting the pulled back sear aside in my mind with the gun in my britches 😅 Always wanted to try the Johnny Glock…
Johnny knows his stuff but I wouldn't put his vex trigger shoe/GPT combo in an EDC
@@Gypsyman40 Same. Johnny doesn't use the thing so I wouldn't buy it either 😆
So I just need a JG shoe for my GPT? It be here tomorrow and will see if I want the JG but I hear good things
I know you like it but how has it been for you?
Hopefully after 7yrs you know the actual correct terminology for parts...
unrelated but i got a CC serial# glock 45 recently and the barrel looks like gray, pvd coating. hate it. like they started to cheap out or something
now thats interesting but to be honest the DLC coating on Glock barrels doesn't hold up. I like the old coating you have better for sure.

Right on! Great tutorial
Glad it was helpful!
Thats odd I draw from a kydex holster, dry fire 4x a week with numerous draws. I would reach out to staccato to see if there is a coat discrepancy.
will do.thanks
There is no such thing as overkill, the proof is in your hands! I am quite fond of the destructive force of the 12 gauge shotgun and the M225a1 lightweight 60mm mortar; both bring an unscripted smile to my face when fired. Nice table top.
Lol... It is a sweet shotti for sure. The build quality is second to none. Thank you for watching
Nice video brother!
Appreciate it!
Two great pistols. Does one offer a clear advantage? Only if you are justifying the cost :) Great review, keep shooting and I will wait for the next review!
Great question and yes I believe people give the advantage to the 2011 because of its weight and price. In real life...this just doesn't hold true in my grip. So, I'm calling snake oil. With that said, I still rather enjoy my shoot experience with my staccato even though I still prefer the Glock. Thanks for watching
the stacatto undeniably shoots flatter, and the trigger is undeniably faster stock, but if this dude got his glock trigger done, its hard to say. striker fire will always be slower than the 2011 trigger.
@@TruckManThings Hmm... I can't say the Staccato shoots flatter than my Glock if you observe the groupings when shooting doubles. I know it's because of my grip feeling better with the Glock. The Staccato does have a fast trigger after you dial it in. My stac trigger isn't stock and it's flat. My Glock trigger feels better on finger, it's flat, short to no slack and it's a bit lighter. This is why I can't give the belt to the my Staccato. It's not truly fair to compare a stock Glock to a stock staccato. With that said, there are pros and cons for both tools but for me the Glock wins in my comparison.
You still running the Glock performance trigger with a JG Vex?
Absolutely, it has been a great setup once you master the feel.
whats your glock magwell?
Dawson Precision ice for the large backstrap
Took a couple of tries to figure out getting the tip of the lower bar just enough to catch the "U" at the end of the spring. Now that I've done it...easy enough, no tools needed. Thanks for the video! 😀
Nice job! you are welcome
Good practical video Gypsy Man.
Thank you for watching...
Thank you man..switching my shoe over to the Johnny Glocks Vex shoe and my trigger bar came out I was shitting bricks until I watched your video!
Glad you got it...easy work
Still scares me carrying a pre-cocked striker. I just cant bring myself to carry it AIWB.
Buy a striker blocking backplate
I agree with you...
Need some help I purchased a Glock performance trigger for my Glock 26 Gen 5 installed it and did a function test looks like it works but when removing the slide to take the gun apart I noticed that the back plate will seat on the firing pin metal piece not letting the slide come off but with a little force am able to release the slide The question is when take the gun apart the back plate rubs and the metal piece where the firing pin seats is this normal please help some one that has this Glock performance trigger
Already answer in another video, but just hold down the trigger when taking off the slide. It's touchie, but this will work and don't force anything
Hi Quick question Just purchased the Glock performance trigger everything looks good and it’s performing well but when I remove the slide to take the gun apart I notice that the side plate is making contact with the metal piece that holds the fire pin I have to pull it alittle hard for it to come out or just press the trigger just a little bit so that metal piece can have clearance Is this normal?
Yes, in order to take the gun apart with the GPT you must hold down the trigger. It will be alittle catchie the slide and frame but this is the way and its normal with this trigger. don't force anything...
@@Gypsyman40actually the back plate it rubbing /touching the sear not the slide on the frame

Hi How do you oil the Glock performance trigger Where do you apply oil to the Glock performance trigger?
oil the connector, the outside of the bar where it touches the connector and where the trigger slides in the trigger housing. hope this helps
Awesome on the Precision trigger assembly. It is quite easy once you do it a couple of times. Thanks much for the video!
You bet...easy for sure...
I have both and you are correct.
appreciate you, but I need to do an update on this subject
Great video!
Thank you...
I can tell you barely know what you’re talking about…. Just from the color of your skin….
I was fine without one until I held one! Took a total of 2 min. and I couldn’t help but buy one. Not the best in the world but not bad by any means. Great video!
Make it yours and train and it will grow on you
I did the same thing for the same reason…
Why take chances...Respect
Man might consider doing the Alpha Trigger, it uses the same Glock parts except the trigger, it has all the Glock safeties, but the trigger break is the same
If you are referring to the timney system I definitely would reconsider that idea. Too many videos on youtube on the light primer strikes.
What polishing wheel do you prefer?
dremel large felt wheel
RAMM Tactical and JG triggers are the best on the market. The GPT without changing the connector and trigger shoe is not worth the money, you might as well spend it on the RAMM Tactical which is far less expensive than the JG and you can select which trigger shoe, the pull weight and have it adjustable out of the box. They make a trigger for any Glock or Clone setup. Absolutely amazing what RAMM - Karl has produced for the price and quality. $290-$370 for a combat or competition trigger from JG is great but that is more than half the price of the firearm. Add a dot and a flashlight and the gun is a complete package but your accessories cost more than the entire firearm. Look up RAMM Tactical and you won't be disappointed. Karl the owner will take your call personally.
Love Clenzoil 💧 & grease
Clenzoil is cool but Lucas is way better for lasting lubrication
I once felt that way. It's not a matter of fineding your dot. if you train with it you'll better understand it. A lot of youtubers, say your enguagement is going to be close. That verywell may be. But it's not a garentee. Stop adding things to your gun you don't want to train with. Everybody want's the gucci gun with all the fixins. You must know everything you add to your gun requires training. Lights Red Dots, Lasers, ect..... Train so that your ready for any encounter. Close or at a distance.
Respect...but even the best shooters skill drops substantially in a gun fight. With that said, one must be honest with their abilities and understand of their level of shooting. We all think we are great until we shoot with a even greater shooter...lol
OMG, you are the man!!!! Thank you so much. The guy from Glock said in the armorer’s class that if the trigger bar comes out, you’re in trouble. What a joke!
That's a joke. It's too easy
